The Promoter is: The Keep Australia Beautiful Council (WA), 168 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA, 6000 ABN 71028403965.

  1. Information on how to enter form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed ineligible.
  2. The promotional period commences at 9.00am on 2 May 2011 and concludes on 29 July 2011 at 5.00pm (WST). Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
  3. To be eligible for the major prize, entrants will be required to upload their Keep Australia Beautiful entry via trashmyad.com.au. Alternatively entrants can post their entry on CD or DVD to Trash My Ad Keep Australia Beautiful Competition, Suite 3, Level 1, 254 Rokeby Road, Subiaco WA, 6008.
  4. Entries in the TV category must be no longer than 30 seconds in length and adhere to the specifications outlined. 
  5. Entries in the radio category must be no longer than 30 seconds in length and adhere to the specifications outlined.
  6. All entries must portray the anti-littering message to be eligible for consideration.
  7. The entrant must also submit a fully completed entry form and talent release form with his/her entry.
  8. The TV category is open to Australian residents up to 25 years of age.
  9. The Radio category is open to Australian residents up to 25 years of age.
  10. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, associated agencies and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter the competition.
  11. All persons appearing in the entry piece will be required to sign a release form providing their consent to appear in the commercial. Any persons under 18 years whose image appears in the commercial or advert must also have parent/guardian consent in order for the entry to be eligible. The consent form must be signed and the original signed copy be submitted to Trash My Ad Keep Australia Beautiful Competition, Suite 3, Level 1, 254 Rokeby Road, Subiaco WA 6008 before the entry will be considered.
  12. Entrants may only include content in the entry that is his/her original work and does not violate or infringe (or reasonably be expected to violate or infringe) upon the rights of any other person including material which is protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
  13. The commercial judged the most creative and effective in portraying the message of anti-littering in each category will be deemed the winner. The major prize winners will be notified in writing within five days from 1 September 2011.
  14. Major prize winners will be awarded cash prizes up to $1,000 as outlined on the website prizes page.  For winners under 18 years of age, the Prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian. A minor prize of $250 for a People's Choice Award in the TV and Radio categories will be given to the entry that receives the highest number of bin ratings.
  15. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. By accepting the prize, the winners agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed or filmed for the purposes of promotion of this competition.
  17. In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winners, the entrant hereby assigns to the Promoter, all right, title and interest in and to all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in any material created pursuant to the winner's participation in any aspect of the competition (Works). The winners acknowledge that the Promoter is free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
  18. The Promoter will take no responsibility for any delay in delivery of the prizes.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residence at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
  20. The Promoter must give the prize only to the person who made the winning entry and only if that person resides at the delivery address nominated on his or her form. For this purpose, the Promoter may require the person claiming to be the winner to provide proof, to the satisfaction of the Promoter, of his or her identity and residence.
  21. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Entrants agree that the Promoter may use his/her film or radio entry and his/her name, for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid.
  22. The Promoter collects personal information about the entrant to enable the entrant to participate in this competition but no further use of this information including marketing purposes will be made without prior consent.
  23. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer viruses, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity of the promotion or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify the entry of any entrant who fails to comply with the entry process.
  24. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
